Things We Can Help With

People reach out for all sorts of reasons. Here are the most common:

Something's not working right — a tool is throwing errors, a conversion failed, or a page isn't loading properly. If you can tell us which browser you're using and what you were trying to do, that helps us track down the issue much faster. Including your operating system and a screenshot of any error message speeds things up considerably.

Feature requests — want us to add a new converter or an extra option to an existing tool? We've built several tools based on user suggestions, so don't hold back. Some of our most popular converters — like the batch processing mode in PDF Forge and the Morse audio playback in CipherBox — started as user ideas.

Privacy and data questions — if you're curious about how a specific tool handles your files, or if you need to exercise a data protection right under GDPR, CCPA, or DPDPA, email us with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. Since all our tools process data in your browser, we don't actually store any of your files on our servers. But we're happy to explain exactly how any specific tool works under the hood.

Business or partnership inquiries — interested in collaborating, writing a guest post for our blog, or have a media inquiry? Drop us a line. We're always open to working with developers, educators, and privacy advocates who share our vision of keeping data where it belongs — on the user's device.

Accessibility concerns — if you're having trouble using any of our tools with a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology, please let us know. We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across all our pages, and your feedback helps us catch issues we might have missed.

Bug reports — found something broken? The more detail you can give us, the faster we can fix it. Ideally, tell us: which tool, which browser and version, what you did step by step, and what happened vs. what you expected. If you're comfortable with browser developer tools, a console log screenshot is incredibly helpful.

What Happens After You Write to Us

Every email gets read personally by Milan. There's no automated sorting or canned responses. For straightforward questions, you'll usually hear back the same day or the next morning. For bug reports that need investigation, it might take a bit longer — but we'll always acknowledge receipt within 48 hours so you know we're on it.

If your issue requires a fix on our end, we'll let you know when the update goes live. We deploy changes to Cloudflare Pages regularly, so turnarounds on bug fixes tend to be quick once we've identified the problem.

How Quickly We Respond

We're a small team, but we take response times seriously:

Our working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM IST, with limited hours on Saturdays (10 AM - 2 PM). If something urgent comes in over the weekend, we do check emails periodically.

Before reaching out about a technical issue, a few things are worth trying first. They solve the problem about 80% of the time:

Data Protection Requests

Since ZeroDataUpload processes everything in your browser, we don't actually hold your file data on any server. But if you have questions about the analytics or advertising cookies on the site, or want to exercise a specific privacy right, here's how:

EU residents can also contact their local data protection authority. California residents can reach the California Privacy Protection Agency. Indian residents can contact the Data Protection Board of India.

If Something Goes Wrong

If you've had a bad experience with our service and want to file a formal complaint, here's what happens:

  1. Send us an email describing the issue in detail
  2. We'll acknowledge it within 48 hours
  3. We investigate and aim to resolve within 5-10 business days
  4. If it's still not sorted, we escalate and work toward a final resolution within 15 business days

We genuinely want to get things right. If our tools aren't working well for you, we want to know about it.
