Rates are sourced from the European Central Bank (ECB) via the Frankfurter API. They are updated daily on business days.

Yes! The Rate Tracker tab shows a chart with rate history. Choose time periods: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year.
Yes. The History tab logs all your conversions with timestamps and rates. You can export as CSV, import records, or clear history.
Go to the History tab and click "Clear All". The button turns red asking you to click again to confirm (no browser popup).
Rates are fetched when you load the page. ECB updates rates once per business day around 16:00 CET. Weekend rates show Friday's closing rates.
The converter caches the last fetched rates. If you're offline, it uses cached rates and shows the cache date.
All calculations happen in your browser. Conversion history is stored in localStorage on your device. The only external call is to the Frankfurter API for exchange rates.
