Terms and Conditions

Welcome — Please Read This First
Thanks for using ZeroDataUpload. We built this platform because we believe you should be able to convert a PDF, generate a strong password, or resize a photo without handing your files over to some server you have no reason to trust. Every one of our 31+ browser-based tools and converters runs entirely on your device. Nothing gets uploaded. That is the whole point.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are the legal agreement between you and us — Leena Software Solutions, the company behind ZeroDataUpload at https://zerodataupload.com/. We have tried to keep the language as clear as possible while still covering what the lawyers need covered. If anything here confuses you, reach out at leenasoftwaresolutions@gmail.com and we will do our best to explain.
By using the site, you are agreeing to these Terms. If you do not agree, that is completely fine — but please stop using the Service.
Who We Are
ZeroDataUpload is operated by Leena Software Solutions, a company founded by Milan Salvi and based in Ambernath East, Maharashtra, India. Here is how to reach us:

What the Service Actually Does
ZeroDataUpload gives you free access to a growing collection of browser-based utilities — things like PDF conversion, Base64 encoding, epoch time conversion, color tools, unit converters, OCR, UUID generation, and more. We currently offer 12 standalone tools and 19 converter categories, each with its own dedicated interface.
Here is the important part: every tool processes your data using JavaScript running locally in your browser. Your files never leave your machine. We do not upload them, store them, cache them, or peek at them. The practical limits on file size come from your own browser and device, not from us.
Agreeing to These Terms
When you open ZeroDataUpload and start using any of our tools, you are accepting these Terms. It works the same way as walking into a shop — by stepping through the door and using the services offered, you are agreeing to the house rules. If specific tools ever carry additional guidelines (for example, a beta feature with known limitations), those apply on top of what you read here.
Your License to Use the Platform
We grant you a personal, non-commercial license to use ZeroDataUpload and its tools. Think of it as borrowing — you can use everything on the site, but you do not own the underlying code, designs, or content. A few ground rules come with that license:
Please do not copy or redistribute our source code, attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the tools, strip out copyright notices, or repurpose the materials for commercial display. We have spent real time building these tools and we ask that you respect that work.
If you violate these rules, the license ends automatically. We can also revoke it at any time. Once it ends — whether you walk away or we ask you to — please delete any materials you may have saved from the site.
What We Expect from You
We try to keep things simple. Use the platform for legitimate purposes. Do not feed copyrighted material into our tools unless you have proper authorization to do so. Do not try to break our security, overload our infrastructure, or use the tools to process anything illegal or harmful. And please respect other people's intellectual property the same way you would want yours respected.
That is really it. We are not going to hand you a ten-item checklist. Just use common sense and treat the platform the way you would want someone to treat something you built.
How Your Data Is Handled
This is the part we are most proud of, so we want to be very specific.
When you drop a file into one of our converters or type text into one of our tools, the processing happens right there in your browser tab. The file does not travel to a server somewhere. We do not see it, log it, or store it. Once you close the tab, the data is gone — we never had it in the first place.
Because everything runs client-side, the performance you get depends on your own hardware and browser. A ten-year-old phone will handle a small PDF differently than a modern laptop. That is a trade-off we accept in exchange for keeping your data completely private.
Third-Party Services We Rely On
We do use a handful of external services to keep the platform running and to understand how people use it. Specifically, we use Google Analytics 4 for usage statistics (so we know which tools are popular and where visitors come from), Google AdSense for advertising (which is how we keep the service free), and Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to read them if you are curious about what data they collect. None of these services have access to the files you process in our tools — remember, those files never leave your browser.
Advertising and How We Keep the Lights On
ZeroDataUpload is free. We do not charge subscriptions, we do not sell your data, and we do not gate features behind a paywall. So how do we pay for hosting and development? Ads.
Google AdSense serves advertisements on our pages. You may see banners or text ads while using the platform. We do not control which specific ads appear — Google's algorithms handle that. If you click an ad, you are entering into a relationship with that advertiser, not with us. AdSense may also place cookies on your device; our Cookie Policy explains how that works in more detail.
Intellectual Property
The tools, the code that powers them, the design, the blog content, the icons — all of that belongs to Leena Software Solutions and our licensors. Copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws in India and internationally protect this work. You are welcome to use the platform, but please do not reuse our branding, trade dress, or proprietary materials without written permission.
To be clear: your files are yours. We make absolutely no claim over anything you process through our tools. You own what you started with, and you own whatever the tool produces. We never even see it.
Things You Should Not Do
We would rather talk about what the platform can do for you, but we need to mention what crosses the line. Do not use ZeroDataUpload for anything unlawful — that includes processing stolen content, distributing malware, scraping the site for commercial purposes, phishing, harassment, or discrimination of any kind. Do not try to interfere with how the site works for other users. And do not use automated bots to crawl or spam the platform.
If we catch activity that violates these rules, we will shut down access without warning.
Disclaimers — The "As Is" Part
We work hard to make sure our tools are accurate, reliable, and useful. But we are a small team, and we cannot guarantee perfection. ZeroDataUpload is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leena Software Solutions makes no warranties — express, implied, or statutory — about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the platform or any content linked from it.
What does that mean in practice? If you convert a document and the output has a formatting glitch, or if a tool produces an unexpected result, we are sorry and we want to hear about it so we can fix it — but we are not legally liable for the outcome.
Limitation of Liability
Neither Leena Software Solutions nor Milan Salvi, nor any of our employees, partners, agents, or affiliates, shall be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. That includes lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible loss.
Since ZeroDataUpload is entirely free, our maximum aggregate liability to you for any and all claims is zero — because you have paid us nothing. We realize that sounds blunt, but it reflects the reality of a free service and is consistent with how liability caps work in practice.
Indemnification
If something you do on the platform causes a legal problem for us — say, you process material that infringes someone's copyright and they come after us — you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Leena Software Solutions, including our agents and employees, from any resulting claims, damages, costs, or legal fees. We do not expect this to ever come up for the vast majority of users, but it is a standard protection that we need to include.
Termination
We can suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. That sounds harsh, but in practice we would only do this if someone were abusing the platform or violating these Terms. If your access is terminated, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Since we do not store user accounts or personal data, termination simply means blocking access.
Your Privacy Matters
Our Privacy Policy is a separate document that goes into detail about what data we collect (very little) and how we handle it. It forms part of this agreement, so please take a few minutes to read it. The short version: we built ZeroDataUpload specifically to avoid collecting your data, and our Privacy Policy reflects that commitment.
When We Update These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and make reasonable efforts to notify you — for instance, by posting a notice on the site. We aim to give at least 30 days' notice before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the platform after changes go live means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Where Disputes Are Resolved
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India. We chose this because it is where Leena Software Solutions is based. If a legal dispute arises that we cannot resolve informally (and we would genuinely prefer to resolve things informally), it will be handled exclusively in the courts of Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, India.
Severability
If a court finds that any part of these Terms is unenforceable, that specific provision will be adjusted to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the rest of the Terms will remain fully in effect. One invalid clause does not bring down the whole agreement.
Waiver
Just because we do not enforce a particular right immediately does not mean we have given it up. For example, if we let a minor violation slide once, that does not prevent us from enforcing the same rule later.
Children's Privacy
ZeroDataUpload is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at leenasoftwaresolutions@gmail.com and we will take steps to address the situation.
Force Majeure
Sometimes things happen that are beyond anyone's control — natural disasters, government actions, widespread internet outages, pandemics. If circumstances like these prevent us from fulfilling our obligations under these Terms, we are not liable for that failure. We will do our best to restore normal service as quickly as possible, but we cannot promise timelines when the cause is outside our hands.
Service Availability and Updates
We do our best to keep ZeroDataUpload available around the clock, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Hosting issues, maintenance, or unexpected bugs can take the site offline temporarily. We may also add new tools, retire old ones, or change how existing features work — sometimes without advance notice. That is part of running a platform that keeps evolving.
International Users
Our servers and operations are based in India. If you are accessing ZeroDataUpload from another country, you are responsible for making sure your use of the platform complies with your local laws. We have users from all over the world and we are happy about that — but we cannot keep track of every jurisdiction's specific regulations.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, make up the complete agreement between you and Leena Software Solutions regarding your use of ZeroDataUpload. If you have read this far, thank you — we know legal documents are nobody's idea of a good time, but we appreciate you understanding the rules of the road.
Questions or Concerns?
If anything in these Terms is unclear, or if you have a question about how it applies to your situation, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are a small team and we actually read our emails.
